It's hard to find any complete sources but from what I could find it looks like Canada increased it's national debt by about 35% in 2020. I think the Debt to GDP is still below 100% but the rate of increase is absolutely shocking. 2021 if forecast's hold (yeah right) is projected to be about another 15% increase in the national debt. Or put another way, from 700 billion to 1.2 trillion in a couple years. Unlike the US most provinces have very large debt loads as well so overall Debt to GDP I think is higher then the United States even though it is still lower federally.
As usual the general public is completely oblivious to the reality of the situation. They are gonna get blind sided by the high inflation that is already in the pipe. But it's all good for the great reset and getting everyone begging for UBI.
