The Shadow government is large and in charge with Obama leading the pack taking his entourage on the road to South Korea to meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in Monday for 40 minutes.
The Korea Herald reported that Moon spoke about his recent meetings with President Trump in Washington and asked Obama for his advice on how to improve that relationship.
“President Moon Jae-in renewed his resolve to pursue sanctions and dialogue to tackle North Korea’s nuclear program during a meeting with former US President Barack Obama on Monday, saying now is the “last chance” for the regime to return to the negotiating table.
During the 40-minute talk, Moon shared the results of his recent summit with his incumbent US counterpart Donald Trump, asking for Obama’s advice on ways to advance the relationship.”
Ummm excuse me but does that not read to anyone else like another world leader attempting to exploit known weaknesses within a country? Pit two known enemies against one another so they will destroy and divide one another.
Apparently someone forgot to give Barack Obama the memo. He is not the president any more nor is he the wanna be boy-king dictator that he is attempting to bully his way into being. The American people have spoken. We are not interested. We want no part of you or your legacy!
Our good friend Steve Straub at Federalist Papers points out that this could be construed as a violation of the Logan Act as defined by Cornell Law School:
“Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”
This meeting came after Obama spoke at the Asian Leadership Conference and the Fourth Congress of Indonesian Diaspora in Jakarta. Obama used that meeting as an opportunity to bad mouth President Trump and his pro America agenda in backing out of the Paris Climate Accord.
Obama stated in Indonesia –
“In Paris, we came together around the most ambitious agreement in history about climate change, an agreement that even with the temporary absence of American leadership can still give our children a fighting chance.”
Obama continued to speak out of both sides of his mouth stating he appreciated that his own predecessor George W. Bush maintained his silence during Obama’s tenure but that Obama himself felt that he is “still a citizen and that carries with it duties and obligations.”
As a result of Obama’s activist lifestyle and his anti-American views, he and President Trump have had a very strained relationship with accusations of Obama both obstructing of justice and of spying on him. Damning evidence has emerged of both that while it may not implicate Obama directly, definitely implicates key members of Obama’s team. One need not wonder too hard where their orders came from.
