Great idea. I was just talking about something like this with @steevc earlier this morning. Possibly starting the FollowFriday hash tag and posting are most active and interesting steemit users in a post each Friday.
Anyway, I really haven't come to terms with how I'm going to utilize the steemit platform. I know I'll be posting mostly about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I'm also thinking about utilizing it for more personal posts about me. Maybe including thoughts, recipes of things I cook, touch on the occasional political post. I'd like to be able to introduce people to the more personal side of The Dood, like I did on Tsū. For now I'm just trying to get a feel for the platform, and having fun posting whatever I think my readers will enjoy. Oh, and getting the latest haps from the DASH space from the @thedashguy and @taoofsatoshi Let the good times roll!
Is it like a series of posts, when people go through who they follow for a while, and promote those who they feel diserve more followers? Great idea, something I'll participate in a week or couple, after I get my bearings.
Basically we would create a category called followfriday and in the post you put something like :
Check out these super interesting, active steemers! @the-bitcoin-dood @xanoxt @etcEtcEtc
If you wanted to you could say a little something about each person and what they blog about. Ex:
@the-bitcoin-dood blogs mostly about cryptocurrency and everything going on in the altcoin space.
@xanoxt has an interesting travel blog dedicated to the places traveled to with some beautiful stories and images of the various places visited.
@etcEtcEtc blogs about blah blah blah, whatever, I checked there is no @etEtcEtc don't want to offend anyone. LOL
You can do it anyway you want, but that's the general idea. The important part is to use the tag followfriday when we submit it. Then you just follow the folks that you find interesting and your friends recommend.
