I would advise you to make 1 more version for very small use.
Remove details like - lights, lines on paper and shading.
Default version is fine, but it needs one version for small size.

I've improved my logo as you suggested.
About the line above the logo screen, it is just a grid effect just for balance, not included in logo design.
