FreeCAD is a special purpose-based 3D parametric modeler for CAD, MCAD, CAx, CAE and PLM, freeCAD can be used to design buildings for architects or can also be used to complete a machine for a three dimensional engine. FreeCAD is a 100% Open Source application and highly modular, allowing for highly sophisticated extensions and adjustments. FreeCAD runs exactly the same way on Windows platforms, Mac OSX and Linux.

The logo I propose is a repair of the previous logo, where the logo er from S and gear, but the logo I propose is more dynamic and looks more interesting.
