On this occasion I want to create a simple tutorial that you can learn easily, because it's easy to do, but it does not matter if I make this tutorial clearly with the steps you have to do in creating your own web on wordpress. so let's take a look at some of the steps you have to do. this is tutorial how to use basic setting di wordpress.
On this occasion I want to give tutorial how to make good setting for your wordpress, there are some important to know and there are also some way like make your wordpress look for public or just your own with private, how to make your website title name, tagline , and also to add tags in your wordpress.

In the video above shows what features are there in wordpress settings, I explain some basic points that you may know for now, because there are other features and settings that we can learn again at the next opportunity. so I hope it can help
If you are not satisfied with the above video, I will share what you need to know for your wordpress settings and also basic things to know.
For the first step you enter into your wordpress profile and you go to the bottom left side, you will see the settings menu and you click to go where your wordpress settings.
In the picture above shows the option to change the site title, tagline, site icon. so you can make as you want as the example I made my own wordpress.
- Site Tittle : is the name for your wordpress, it will always appear at the top of your wordpress and the site tittle becomes an important thing for a blog so that others can remember your blog.
- Site Tagline : is a general description explaining the usefulness of your wordpress, for example I create a wordpress tutorial tagline because I create a blog for tutorials, you can make your own
- Site Icon : is the logo or icon for your website, this is the favicon that will appear in your browser address
In this section you do not need to change custom adrres, because it is enough for an existing address, and you can choose what language is your wordpress part, for timezone you can choose the time where you are and you live.
- Public : Your site is visible to everyone, and it may be indexed by search engines. if you choose public then your website can be seen by others and also will be read by search engine like google. You may choose this if you want to share information with others
- Hidden : Your site is visible to everyone, but we ask search engines to not index your site. meaning your website can be viewed but can not be searched in search
- Private : Your site is only visible to you and users you approve.your website can only be seen by you and the people you have allowed
- click on the arrow
In that section you can add category and tag section, you can click on the arrow and you will see the add button, and that means you can add category or tag in your wordpress
This adds a confirmation step with helpful settings and tips for double-checking your content before publishing. it is to make double checks when you want to create or want to publish your post. you may turn the feature on or off
- Display blog posts per page is On blog pages, the number of posts to show per page.
- Testimonials : testimonials per page is Add, organize, and display testimonials. If your theme doesn’t support testimonials yet, you can display them using the shortcode.
- Portfolio projects per page is Add, organize, and display portfolio projects. If your theme doesn’t support portfolio projects yet, you can display them using the shortcode.
For the discussion and traffic section, I suggest not to change that, you can change it if you need it, you can see in the video I put above, my explanation is only in the important part for you to know right now, because we start with at the bottom of the setting.
