Yes, I actually also thought that the size problems do not occur on all platforms. Mine is Chrome /MacOS standard resolutions. Not sure about that login window, but menu size problems occur to me on both MBP and iMac with standard resolution: 2560 x 1600 It also had a problem with an external monitor: 3440 x 1440. Hope this helps!
As I stated, that login window problem might be an extreme and exceptional case. But the main problem is menu: For instance, I think if you reduce the size of heading, that most menus can fit into one page without scroll.
