Thank you @cranium. There a a couple of analysts who I look up to here and are excellent with data. @crokkon, @miniature-tiger, @paulag, @eastmael to name but a few.

Cheers!

Thank you Asher for the mention and excellent analysis. With this analysis, we now have supporting data (evidence) that @curie is in accordance with its mission to reward and recognize new Steemit users with its low reputation average. (Albeit the 50+ average is still high in my opinion)

@dtube and @utopian-io I agree are more of a focused group so I do was expecting that the number of authors rewarded by the two accounts will be smaller compared to that of @curie.

So far, what I was able to get from this was - if you're new to the platform, you have greater chances of getting an up-vote from @curie if you use the common route - posting thru steemit.com or busy.org. The challenge for the curators here is that there's just a large/wide array of users that curators have to sift through.

For utopian and dtube, the user pool gets smaller because for an author to be upvoted by one of these accounts, the author needs to use the bot's respective platforms. This filters the authors with this layer.

For example, if a user choose to post thru utopian.io, then the topic a user submits here will be focused - open-source and reputation most likely will not matter. A thought here is - if I'm new to the platform, the first thing that will be on my mind is to familiarize myself with my surroundings. After I've familiarized myself with my surroundings (and with it most likely my reputation would have grown), then that's the time I may choose to post next on more focused platforms.

And lastly, for @dtube, I just learned here that there's a higher probability of receivinng an upvote if you're an established account. So if there's anything that stuck with me, it would be this.

Thank you for your comments @eastmael, a fine analysis summary!

You are quite correct regarding the smaller pool of accounts for @dtube and @utopian-io, giving @curie and advantage with the unique vote count, and perhaps the other sections of analysis.

As I stated at the end, an analysis to include followers could also provide further evidence - although it's quite tricky to include 'subscribers' from YT which might show some interesting results.

Cheers!
