@SteemMakers is a community on Steem founded by @jefpatat. We want to reward makers and DIYers for there extra efforts offline and online. The community bot is curating manually selected posts and rewards them with a vote and comment on the posts.
I did update this function of the bot to integrate the new subcommunity logos created from @podanrj for DIY and maker content. It selects the corresponding logos based on the category that was selected when a post is nominated.
Comment with Maker Logo
Comment with DIY Logo
I also integrated into the new comment direct links to our discord channel, our curation trail page, and the delegation page!
The configuration of the comment is now outsourced from the javascript code into a separate JSON config file. The comment was rewritten and uses HTML instead of markdown to have the Logo floating to the right side.
Now it is your turn again! If you like to support the maker community on steem or you are a maker or DIYer yourself follow our trail or delegate a small amount of SP.
Delegate whatever you think this type of content is worth to you. I still stay to my promise when @SteemMakers reaches 800 SP delegation I will double my share from 200 to 400 SP.
Kind regards

Thanks for the work doc!
Thanks for the contribution to this great community. However, your contribution cannot be accepted with the current rule set.
From the rules
As may seen in the commit 2bb84c1 this changeset only includes trivial changes.

As a project owner: may I kindly object to this? This 'trivial' change required database changes, graphical designs, careful discussion about the wordings used and extensive testing on our test server with multiple accounts. This item required many hours of work and discussion with several people involved. More than this commit alone were related to this feature and changes had to be made because of issues found during testing. Drmake coordinate d all of this. It's really more than a couple of lines.
I have re-evaluated but still cannot see why this should be approved. I am not judging the contribution by the lines of code - I am judging it by the changeset.
Sorry, but actual development made here is trivial. You may contact @amosbastian about a reconsideration.
