Reply to Steemit blogs using Mixion, + smooth transition animations

New Features

  • Reply to Steemit Blogs

It is now possible to reply to any post on Steemit.com directly from Mixion. When you open up a post and click on the green comment button, a whole new page will expand where you can type away.

I've also took some time to work on a few aesthetics and added a cool circular reveal animation. I will probably begin implementing these types of animations throughout the app

  • How did you implement it/them?
  1. In this commit I worked on the animation feature, this takes up about 200 lines of code by itself, but in here I also created the reply comment layout and fragment.

  2. After I got the animation working, I then refactored most of my code to fit the MVP design pattern.

  3. Then it was ready to submit the reply to the steemit blockchain

  4. One of the other things I included was to ensure only logged-in users can reply

Whats Next?

  • Load nested replies

  • Implement voting with percentage option
