Hello @joe.public. Utopian uses SteemConnect V2 that is built by Busy.org and supported by Steemit. Utopian needs the active key to delegate your posting authority to the app account. You can revoke anytime this authority, using the steemconnect dashboard. Utopian does not see your active key and it does not store it anywhere. SteemConnect acts as an intermediary between Utopian and your Steem credentials. You credentials are totally safe when used on Utopian ;)
