This is great news. While we are it I also have another request/suggestion
There are many great open source projects that are not on Github. For example Drupal is an example for a great open-source project that is powered by a community. There are various reasons why Drupal.org is not github.
I think it will be great if there can be exceptions made for projects on a case to case basis. Once we sort out the hard dependency on Github, I can speak to the Drupal Association and we can set up a process.
I think both the communities will benefit immensely from this collaboration. Would like to hear your thoughts on the same.
Hello @gokulnk we have always considered the possibility to allow other platforms on top of Github. This will require quite big changes in our system, thus we have not yet planned it. It is absolutely in our mind since the very start and we will provide ways for Open Source projects not hosted in Github to benefit from Utopian.
Thanks for clarifying @elear
Looking forward to it.
great news !!!
