Individuals recognise words on the grounds that there is a standard way to spell them. Once perceived, the reader instantly comprehends what it implies and the point that the writer expected to pass on is passed on.

This is what I mean by spell checker, this software/plugin that shows you the spelling of the word even before you might have gone half way the spelling. See example below:

Good spelling is essential when you are composing for educational purposes, especially on steemit. So it is imperative to spell-check keenly. Be that as it may, when writing a post for steemit there are a few grammatical blunders that are bound to happen when we compose hurriedly, though at the second glance we are likely to detect them. Although there are other mistake that you can make on steemit post without easily noticing them.

I see people's comments on steemit beginning with small letters, people using "i" instead of "I". These are common errors spell checker would effect with ease. Below are screenshots of this problems.

The above are the screenshots of the commonly made mistake by steemians that spell-check would curtail; "I" is the first person singular pronoun. It's always capitalized.

Most websites as a matter of facts have a built in spell-check apparatus that can enable you to remedy any incorrect spellings while typing, either on "post creation" or in "comment box". Let's take busy.org for example,Screenshot_20171128-185155.png
Utopian.io also has this feature, see below:

This was a piece of advice given to a group of steemian by @OlaPrince

If you're using laptop to post on steemit, kindly download Grammarly from Grammarly.com and connect it with your Google Chrome, its an extension app thou.

It will help you correct miss spelled English, rewrite error, and even add missed words to appropriate place.

It has become a thing of concern in different steemit communities, what am explicitly asking for, is simple. If steemit could include spell-checker to steemit built in.

What's your stake on this "spell checker" issue, feel free to add your contributions. Let us collectively and deliberately make steemit better.

This is a mind blowing suggestion. This would go a long way to help improve this platform. It would help avoid certain mistakes concerning spellings that we hardly notice. I am in total support of this idea.

I get what you are saying bro. Most times we fail to spot our mistakes both in punctuation and spellings, but i believe with this awesome plugin it's bot will remind us thereby reducing our errors by a 60%

You got exactly what trying to say, if spell checker was to be incorporated into steemit even the "i" you wrote above would have been corrected.

This is a really good idea, I believe there are plenty of external services available that do a similar thing such a https://www.grammarly.com

Thank you very much. I will consult you on discord later.

You are most welcome.
