Bodhi Linux is an Ubuntu-based distribution for desktop displays that can feature elegant and lightweight window manager lighting. The project that integrates and pre-configures the very latest direct development of the project development repository, offers modularity, high level of customization, and theme options. The default lightweight Bodhi system of the only pre-installed applications is Midori, LXTerminal, EFM (Enlightenment File Manager), Leafpada and Synaptic but more software is available through AppCenter, a web-based software installation.
IP Address is a row of binner between 32 bits to 128 bits which is used to identify on every computer device connected to computer network (internet). 32 bit binner numbers are used for each IP Address version of IPv4 and for 128 bit binner numbers are used for IPv6 version. IP Address is useful as a data identification of every computer device connected on a computer network that can utilize internet protocol as its connecting media, IP Address serves as a means of identification of hosts or interfaces on a computer network. In addition, the IP Address also has a function as a pointer address network location.
Step - step how to configure IP Address on the operating system Bidho Linux 4.4.0:
1. Display login on the operating system Bidho Linux 4.4.0.
2. Display operating system Bidho Linux 4.4.0.
3. Next open Terminology by selecting System + System Tools + Terminology.
Display Terminology.
4. Next login as root (user) by typing sudo su command by entering the username and password you have given when install.
sudo su
Next the ifconfig command to see the ip address.
ifconfig
Then type the cd /etc/network command.
cd /etc/network
Then type the gedit interfaces command.
gedit interfaces
type apt-get install gedit command
apt-get install gedit
Select y to configure the install.
Display the install process.
Type the gedit interfaces command. as shown below.

Views on gedit interfaces. as shown below.
In IP Address 192.168.1.40 you can replace with 192.168.1.42 for example. as shown below.
Then select save to save the configuration results. as shown below.
Next to restart the configuration type /etc/init.d/networking command restart. as shown below.
/etc/init.d/networking restart
