Bug found on firebase chat demo

Expected behavior

User are supposed to be able to change their respective passwords at any time of their choice.

Actual behavior

Password cannot be changed
Upon click on the application after download, I signed up as a new user and tried changing my password after login but it couldn't be changed.

How to reproduce

• Download firebase chat demo app. from Google playstore.

• launch the app.

• login or sign up (for new users)

• click on "change password " under profile

• type in a new password

• log out and insert ur new password

• there goes the bug

• App version: 1.0.6

• Browser: chrome

• Android version: 5.1
