Expected behavior

Clicking the followed button will show you all the list of the accounts you followed even if you put text/letters in the search bar under followers

Actual behavior

Clicking the followed button will not show you the list of the accounts you followed if you put text/letters in the search bar under followers

How to reproduce

To easily reproduce the bug we will search an account that is following you and at the same time you followed back.

  • In Home, click the account picture in the upper left corner of the screen
  • Click the down arrow button inline with the number of post and your steem power, it will show you additional options.
  • Click follow, It will give you two buttons that will lead you to the list of your followers and the accounts you followed.
  • Choose an account which you followed and at the same time is following you.
  • To check! search the account in both follower and followed search bar. (Don't forget to erase the username everytime you switch to follower and followed.)
  • Now in Followers search bar, search the account and directly go to followed followed list by clicking followed button.
  • The bug occurs! No name/list will show up.

Hi @jemmanuel. Thanks for leaving us this report.

The steps you provided were kind of tough to follow. One had to read, then re read. The video helped, but it could have been better.

On checking, I observed that the buttons do not return the users followed or following when you have a name in any of the search bars, be it the "followers" search bar or the "followed" search bar.

It is very possible that this was intended by the developer, since all you need do to make it work is to -

  • Return to the page where you have a name already inputed in the search bar
  • Clear this name
  • And then click on any of the intended buttons

You can access any of the buttons from any of the tabs (followers or followed) as long as the search bar is left empty in the two tabs. So this issue is entirely negligible. If its to be fixed, it would be to avoid confusion from users.

NB:
To get a higher score in future contributions, endeavor to include in your reports a technical analysis pin pointing the cause of the behavior encountered. Then you could suggest a possible fix
