This time I will share a short instructional exercise how to obstruct certain destinations in light of url or secret key in Ubuntu utilizing Squid Proxy. Since today is the long stretch of Ramadan, it will positively be extremely helpful for us as a device of "restraint" if whenever we erroneously open the site illegal.
Well like the screenshot above, squid will obstruct the site that we go into the rundown.
Approve simply go to the instructional exercise.
In the first place, introduce Squid.
Components
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install squid3
Next, we make a rundown that contains the url or catchphrase you need to piece.
sudo nano /etc/squid3/block.txt
Here I enter the url you need to piece.
After the spare, we make another new record containing the catchphrases you need to piece
sudo nano /etc/squid3/block1.txt
Next is to alter its squid.conf area.
sudo nano/and so forth/squid3/squid.conf
At that point find "#acl localnet src" and include this code beneath:
Next still in squid.conf look for "http_port 3128"
Well that is the default squid port. Can be left can likewise be supplanted. For this instructional exercise I change to port 6969.
All things considered, spare, at that point restart the squid.
sudo squid3 -k reconfigure && sudo squid3 restart
The outcome, when we attempt to get to the url that has been entered square rundown, will blunder.
