Instructions to Block Website With Squid on Ubuntu Linux

This time I will share a short instructional exercise how to obstruct certain destinations in light of url or secret key in Ubuntu utilizing Squid Proxy. Since today is the long stretch of Ramadan, it will positively be extremely helpful for us as a device of "restraint" if whenever we erroneously open the site illegal.

In the first place, introduce Squid.

Components

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install squid3

sudo nano /etc/squid3/block.txt

sudo nano /etc/squid3/block1.txt

Next still in squid.conf look for "http_port 3128"
