music stops if mobile is switched to landscape position

Expected behavior

I expected my music to continue playing if i turn my phone to landscape position

Actual behavior

After selecting the app to play a track from my browser the music stops if a change the orentation of my phone from portrait to landscape, and if i attempt to continue to play the music from where it paused it automatically plays the first song in my music library

How to reproduce

  • Download simple music player
  • Enable auto rotate on your device
  • keep device in a portrait position
  • Download or select a track from your mobile browser
  • Choose the music app to play the track when prompted
  • Rotate your phone to landscape position

  • App Version: 3.2.3
  • Operating system: Android 7.0
  • Device Used: Infinix Hot 5
