Easier onboarding of multiple users
Until now it was necessary to create a new invitation for every user you wanted to onboard.
As mentioned in the last post I already planned to add a batch creation functionality to create multiple links in one go (Issue #6).

Today @reggaemuffin approached me with a request for a discord-like option to allow one link to be used by multiple users to hand over to leaders from other communities (

I’ve been meaning to tell you great job on this @pharesim. My friend @bryan-Imhoff walked me through it the other night. I’ve grabbed a few account slots for friends I’m bringing on to Steemit.
Does this mean that at some point later, it is possible to provide claimed accounts to a community?
I'm not sure I understand the question. Claimed accounts are always yours, and it's up to you who you create accounts for...
ok. I was wondering if it is possible to give a link to a community so they can use the ones I have claimed and then I guess I approve them on my end. Or perhaps if they need a lot of accounts created, links could go into an 'account pool' to draw from without having to wait for RCs to regenerate or if an app has low RCs but needs accounts, they can have them donated.
I have been claiming some but have no idea what I will do with them yet obviously. I will have to make more friends from off steem :)
Did you check out the "invite someone now" button yet? That's where you can create the links. You have to approve in the end (you'll receive a notification email).
So I wanted to play with this but I am concerned about the possibility for abuse. If I make a link that allows 3 invites and give it to a user, they can use my link to consume all 3 invites right away ?
Yes, that's possible. I also don't have an idea how to prevent this. I guess that risk is a bit lower on Discord, as you need an account there to accept an invite - but I assume a malicious person could create multiple Discord accounts to do the same.
The use cases for this functionality are probably quite limited, but as I was going to add the batch link creation today anyway, and @reggaemuffin requested this particular feature this morning I figured I'd just add that option too.
One simple security measure could be storing and showing the IP addresses of the requesters, so a malicious user would need to put at least a bit more work in. Right now the only indicator would be the timestamp. There's no way to make it "safe" though (if you have further ideas, they're welcome!).
