Hello @preparedwombat this is problem has been discussed various times. Utopian uses SteemConnect V2 from Busy.org and Steemit itself. For the way it works it needs your active key or password. The posting key is not enough to assign the posting role to the app
Thanks. But FWIW, I would not be comfortable with providing my active key. Why one would want to assign the posting role to "the app" is not at all obvious.
I know but Utopian or Busy do not store your password or active key. They are just assigning the posting role so they don't have to store the password anywhere if you get my point :)
