Introduction
This contribution is an analysis on the Fluctuating Values of Steem for the Month of December, 2017. However, from the title itself, A Weekly Analysis on Steem, the data described in this contribution will be based on the data gathered weekly for the month of December, 2017. Thus, the data described will cover only from " December 01, 2017 – December 07, 2017 ". The data are being represented to its equivalents in US Dollars which also includes the Open Price, Highest Price, Lowest Price, Closing Price, Volume and the Market Cap.
Continuing to the analysis, I have here a representation of the data gathered with regards to the Fluctuating Values of Steem which has been represented through tables, graphs and charts. In order to illustrate more accurately the data gathered, the said tables, graphs and charts will be the basis and so as the source of the presentation.

STEEM OPEN PRICE GRAPH
ANALYSIS
Looking at the graph above, from December 01 to December 06, 2017, it can be observed that the opening price of Steem was aggressively increasing from 1.09 USD to 1.45 USD. However, on December 07, 2017, the opening price of Steem was suddenly decreased by 0.16 USD, from 1.45 USD to 1.29 USD. It can be concluded that from December 01 to December 07, 2017, the lowest open price value of Steem was on December 01, 2017 having an open price value of 1.00 USD, while the highest open price value of Steem was on December 06, 2017 having an open price value of 1.45 USD.
To explain further the data given in the graph above, another data below is given in order to state further the Open Prices of Steem from December 01 to December 07, 2017.

ANALYSIS
Looking at the graph above, from December 01 to December 05, 2017, it can be observed that the high price of Steem was aggressively increasing from 1.10 USD to 1.62 USD. However, on December 06, 2017, the high price of Steem was suddenly decreased by 0.14 USD, from 1.62 USD to 1.48 USD. But a sudden change of high price value occurred, it was able to recover easily. It was on December 07, 2017, that the high price of Steem was unexpectedly increased by 0.67 USD. It can be concluded that from December 01 to December 07, 2017, the lowest high price value of Steem was on December 01, 2017 having a high price value of 1.10 USD, while the highest high price value of Steem was on December 07, 2017 having a high price value of 2.15 USD.

ANALYSIS
Looking at the graph above, from December 01 to December 05, 2017, it can be observed that the low price of Steem was aggressively increasing from 0.971877 USD to 1.42 USD. However, on December 06, 2017, the low price of Steem was suddenly decreased by 0.16 USD, from 1.42 USD to 1.26 USD. But then again, a sudden change of low price value occurred, it was able to recover easily. It was on December 07, 2017, that the low price of Steem was unexpectedly increased by 0.01 USD. Though the increased value of price is not that big, still the value was able to increase. It can be concluded that from December 01 to December 07, 2017, the lowest low price value of Steem was on December 01, 2017 having a low price value of 0.971877 USD, while the highest low price value of Steem was on December 05, 2017 having a low price value of 1.42 USD.

Looking at the graph above, from December 01 to December 05, 2017, it can be observed that the closed price of Steem was aggressively increasing from 1.08 USD to 1.46 USD. However, on December 06, 2017, the closed price of Steem was suddenly decreased by 0.18 USD, from 1.46 USD to 1.28 USD. But then again, a sudden change of closed price value occurred, it was able to recover easily. It was on December 07, 2017, that the closed price of Steem was unexpectedly increased by 0.77 USD. It can be concluded that from December 01 to December 07, 2017, the lowest closed price value of Steem was on December 01, 2017 having a closed price value of 1.08 USD, while the highest closed price value of Steem was on December 07, 2017 having a closed price value of 2.05 USD.

Looking at the graph above, from December 01 to December 05, 2017, it can be observed that the volume of Steem was aggressively increasing from 1,529,000 to 7,781,870. However, on December 06, 2017, the volume of Steem was suddenly decreased by 1,572,400, from 7,781,870 to 6,209,470. But then again, a sudden change of Steem volume occurred, it was able to recover easily. It was on December 07, 2017, that the volume of Steem was unexpectedly increased by 20,784,230. It can be concluded that from December 01 to December 07, 2017, the lowest volume value of Steem was on December 01, 2017 having a volume of 1,529,000, while the highest volume value of Steem was on December 07, 2017 having a volume of 26,993,700.

Looking at the graph above, from December 01 to December 06, 2017, it can be observed that the market cap of Steem was aggressively increasing from 246,689,900 to 358,357,000. However, on December 07, 2017, the market cap of Steem was suddenly decreased by 39,810,000, from 358,357,000 to 318,547,000. It can be concluded that from December 01 to December 07, 2017, the lowest market cap value of Steem was on December 01, 2017 having a market cap value of 246,689,900, while the highest market cap value of Steem was on December 06, 2017 having a market cap value of 358,357,000.

Why did I generate this data?
I generate this data so that Steemians would be informed about the Weekly Fluctuating Values of Steem. Also, for them to visualize and analyze the daily values of Steem from its Opening Price to its Closing Price as well as its Volume and Market Cap. Lastly, to be able to generate data and an analysis that would be useful for Steemit and its users, the Steemians.
Over-All Conclusion
Therefore, it has been concluded that the value of Steem Prices is directly proportional on its Volume and Market cap. It means that as the Volume and Values of Steem Market Cap increases, the Prices ( Open, High, Low and Close ) also increases. Thus, if the Volume and Values of Steem Market Cap decreases, the Prices (Open, High, Low and Close) also decreases. Lastly, for the week of December 01 to 07, 2017 the values of Steem in USD is not constantly increasing. There are days that it was decreasing, however, it recovers on the next day, such that the value had increased again.

How can you speak of opening/closing prices in a 24hr market?
hmmm... actually opening and closing prices has its own time interval... just click this link for more information ^_^ and base on my observation, the opening price is the value of Steem in USD during 12:01 am (Philippine Time) while the closing price is the value of Steem in USD during 12:00 pm (Philippine Time)... meaning, opening and closing of the day
Your contribution cannot be approved because it does not follow the Utopian Rules.
We do not require the displaying of an open/close price of Steem for one week out of the last 85 that the market has been available for this coin.
There is no history analysis, data modeling, trend analysis, future analysis.
I'm sorry, but I totally reject this as a worthwhile contribution to an open source project.
