Introduction
I've been asked about which nitrous platform is worth to put our time into investments, and how I feel about the different tribes since I heavily invested in a few tribes. Rather than answering each one via DM, I thought it would be good to work out my overall investments on these platforms and what my take is for each one in this blog post. In this way, I have everything on one page to evaluate more clearly.
When the tribes came out in the last 2 months, everything became more engaged and fun on the blockchain. I didn't have enough STEEM to invest on these platforms, so I did power down and undelegated some of my SP from my main account to invest in these nitrous sites.
A Simple Chart of My Investments of the Different Tribes
I actually bought their tokens when these nitrous sites started:
- WEED: invested with 80 STEEM
- PAL: invested with 1800 STEEM
- AAA: invested with 160.5 STEEM
- LEO: invested with 1864 STEEM
- CCC: invested with 155.5 STEEM
- RHB: invested with 303.5 STEEM
- I put everything against STEEM so that it is easy to look at my investments across the board.
- There is no point to talk about each specific token when I am comparing my investment across the board.
- I recorded the amount of STEEM I bought for each sites' token
- Obviously, from the chart, I invested the most in Palnet.io and @steem.leo
My Evaluation of my Investment for each one of these Tribes
1. WEED
The Weed platform was the first nitrous site that came on the scene. Of course, most of us were excited and went in to see what was happening. Since it is an English site, I also put in my initial investment onto the platform to see how we could help the platform grow. After all, it is the first nitrous site. This was back in May.
I don't know the WEED founders at all. Many of us also did not understand how these nitrous sites worked, and soon enough, we found out that these are niche sites meaning that the Weed platform is solely devoted to talking about Weed. Since this is not my area of interest, I soon pulled out of that site and unstaked my WEED cash.
I didn't lose in this investment because the total WEED earned would cover the initial investment.
2. Palnet.io
This site is run by the @minnowsupport group. So already, there is a high trust for us to participate in this platform. Since this site is open for all content posted, I felt secure to use the #palnet tag for my posts.
We were all generously airdropped with PAL to claim. I claimed 1446 PAL coins.
Obviously, when such generosity was airdropped to me, I felt the obligation to return the favor by staking the PAL coins to get involved on the platform. My success in getting PAL rewards was very low, so I decided to buy PALMM to mine PAL coins passively.
I now have 3094 PAL staked.
Converting this to STEEM:
If I were to sell it with today's price, my ROI will come to 1114 STEEM.
Is my investment worth it? Of course.
Give it a longer time, it will break even and go beyond what I have invested very soon, possibly next month.
What makes this Palnet.io SO attractive is that their airdrop caught us with a great surprise that there was no doubt in my mind to support them. Also, we can freely use the palnet.io for our content creation without getting flagged for wrong content.
3. AAA
AAA platform is more Korean based but because I knew the founder @jayplayco from the other projects, I started taking an interest in this platform. There were AAA airdrop form the JJM holdings, so I started investing into AAA site as I also love watching movies.
My investment is 160.5 STEEM.
I staked all my AAA with my posting and curation rewards. There is no reason to unstake them. At present, my AAA power is 80,067.
Converting this to STEEM:
If I were to sell it with today's price, my ROI will come to 488 STEEM.
Is my investment worth it? Of course.
It has already covered my initial investment of 160.5 STEEM.
I also have very pleasant experiences working with @jayplayco as we partner in the AAA mentoring program. They have been generously rewarding and supporting my effort as I help mentors growing their site. The founders can certainly be trusted.
Will I unstake AAA? Of course not!
4. LEO
From the chart, you can see that I invested the most on this platform. I combined the amount of LEO and LEOMM I bought. They come to 1864 STEEM.
TBH, I only came to know the founder of SteemLeo.com @khaleelkazi when I came on the site when they started airdropping LEO to those who had their PAL staked. Their generosity caught my attention that I started taking notice of this platform.
Of course, there were people questioning about this platform in the beginning, and so I didn't start purchasing LEOMM until July 7 and then LEO on July 10th. I needed the time to see how the Leo team works. As I mentioned in the other posts, I kicked myself for not purchasing LEO earlier when it was at the 0.074 Steem/Leo. I was debating at the door whether to buy or not to buy the first week. Finally, when I decided to buy, it shot up to 0.17299 Steem/Leo. To many and to me, that is the wrong time. But I have no regrets because I see the potential of this platform. The team there is hardworking to provide quality content for us from their posts, from their curation, from their talk shows, etc.
Today, I have 13,441 Staked with LEO Power.
Converting this to STEEM:
- today, the price of LEO had gone down
- even with this low price, if I sell all my LEO, I would have 1378 STEEM
- It has not covered my 1864 STEEM invested on this platform but I am sure in August, it will not only break even but will go beyond and above.
Will I unstake LEO? Of course not!
5. CCC
The creative coin site also airdropped on us. I was so busy with my investments that I didn't even take notice of the 1000 CCC dropped in my wallet. It was only after a week, that I decided to look into this platform.
Being so gracious to us, I decided to invest another 5000 CCC which came to 155.5 STEEM to them. I don't really know how the founders are but I recognize a few photographers there. Since I love traveling and taking photos, I started getting involved on this site only this past week. It has not been very long yet but I believe my creativity, whether in photography or in arts, can bring value to them.
The payout just started today and I got 36 CCC in my wallet.
It is too early for me to give a fair evaluation of this platform as I have only been active on here for a week.
6. RHB
The #Realityhubs site came on the scene this past week. I took notice of it the same time I started looking into CCC.
With all the other sites, there were airdrops given to me so I responded. But for the RHB, there was no airdrop given to me, but I invested in RHB because I trusted the founder @knowledges because of our time of working at Utopian.io.
I bought 1000 RHB with the price of 0.200 Steem / RHB. This cost me 200 STEEM.
This is the first time I saw such a big drop in the price after the first payout. The price went down to 0.00250 on the first day of payout. Ouch! Again, most of us kicked ourselves for buying RHB with 0.200 when it began. Seeing that the price was so low, I invested another 103.5 STEEM for a return of an incredibly large amount of 36.306 RHB. The logic behind this is to even out the incredibly high price I bought last week. Again, another 'hard' lesson learned on investment.
Again, it is too early to evaluate a platform when it begins. I am sure the team will start posting their own Review posts to set an example of what kind of content they wish users to review. Right now, things are quite random as there are no clear guidelines yet of what is needed in the review content.
Today, I got my first payout which comes to 1,121 RHB from my own posts and curation rewards.
Conclusion
These are some of my early conclusions. I also want to talk about #neoxian, #marlians and #zzan in my next post as they have been very generous in their rewards to my posts.

This is a very interesting post. You are quite invested in these Tribes. I am not on a buying mode, right now. I've been focused on getting my stack of BTC, ETH and MCO higher, since the beginning of the year, so every little bit I have to invest will go to fill up those 3 bags.
However, I haven't sold any of the Steem Airdrops and I've staked all the coins, even those I don't know what they're for, like Banjo and Geek. Ahahah!
The only token I've sold was Porn, because I don't intend to ever upvote any porn related post on Steem. And, of course, as soon as I sold, the price doubled.
Presently the tribes are kicking a lot of fun for us on Steem. Yes, it's good to do BTC and ETH also.
Very interesting post.
I'm also investing in some token tribes, I really like Creative Coin because I'm a photographer and I like to talk about my excursions in Italy through my photos, if you like, tell me what you think :)
Ha ha, you are like me about creativecoin. I joined them because I am a photographer and a traveler. There are lots of photography contests you can join to improve your creativity. Join their discord to find out about the contests. Maybe we can see each other there.
Very interesting post.

Curated by adsup, I'm loving the tribes.
Thanks @adsup. Tribes are getting people more engaged for sure.
Thank you for your continued support towards JJM. For each 1000 JJM you are holding, you can get an additional 1% of upvote. 10,000JJM would give you a 11% daily voting from the 700K SP virus707 account.
Really appreciate all your posts about the tribes. I had a general understanding of them but you've really helped me grasp what they are really about and what kind of returns to expect.
Yes, this helps for those who are not clear what is happening to the tribes.
Dear @rosatravels
Great choic of topic. Thank you for sharing your valuable experience. Good stuff.
It seem that PAL and LEO managed so far to build the strongest communities around their tribes.
Yours,
Piotr
I invested over 54 steem and bought 9k sports during its early days when it was still trading for $ 0.006, now I have over 100k sports staked.
I also invested I think close to 15 steem on MOT but it's currently like a bad investment for me.. Will be unstaking and selling soon.
Staked little (all the steem i have at that time) on marlians but it is a great initiative that I will surely invest more later.
