Contribution to Open Source Project - Steepshot Website
Components
The steepshot website is presently in alpha stage. it is a platform where you are allowed to upload your beautiful photos for people to look at. It allows you to tag with different hashtags so that people can find your photos easily. I love using the Steepshot website to share my photographs with other photographers. I've been using it for quite a few months and quite like the efficiency of the website.

Proposal
Since I am one of those who love posting via Steepshot and I am sure there are many like me, I want to to propose to the Project Owner 2 Technical Features that will enhance the Steepshot website:
1. Add a New Feature to "Re- upload"
- Right now, there is now way to re-upload a photo when we make a mistake.
- Like today, I uploaded a picture and I wanted to change my mind. There is no way to change that photo.
- So I suggest a new tab in the Editor page: Allow 'Re-upload'
- In this way, a new photo can be uploaded.
2. Allow users to upload a Maximum of 3 photos:
- Right now, we can only upload one photo for the post
- But since our upload onto Steepshot goes to Steemit, I suggest that users can be allowed to upload 2 more photos, ie. a maximum of 3 photos for one post
- The reason is that Steemit bloggers might want a bit more on our post, so if we have similar photos along the same theme, we can make the post more substantial
- I suggest a maximum of 3 photos so that the post will not be cluttered with lots of photos
- In this way, we need to choose 3 photos we want for that post
3. Allow Users to choose the 'thumnail' picture between the 3 photos
- Since more photos will be added, allow users to choose the 'thumbnail' photo for that post
Mockups / Examples
1. Go to the Editor page where we upload our photo:
- this is what the editor page looks like when we upload the picture
- currently, we cannot change the picture after we uploaded the picture
2. Add in "Re-upload" Tab
- As a mock up example, I created a new Tab to 'Re-upload'
- in this way, if you uploaded the wrong picture, you can re-upload
3. Add another Tab: Can to Upload a maximum of 3 photos
- users can only upload one picture now, so we can allow another tab to upload a max of 3 photos
4. Add a menu tab: 1, 2, 3 to choose the thumbnail pic for that post
- here the user can choose whether 1 , 2, or 3 to be the thumbnail for that post
Benefits
There are lots of benefits to setting up these 'Reupload' tab and 'uploading 3 Max photos':
- when users make a mistake in uploading the picture, there is a feature now to re-upload
- when users want to upload an extra picture related to the theme, he now has a new feature to upload more photos
- when more photos are uploaded, user can decide which photo can be the thumbnail
- in this way our posts are more interesting
- it will add more content to our actual posting so that it won't look as if steepshot has no content posting
