Calling Out For More Translators for Tasks Simplified
Take a look at the following sreenshot and you will see that many languages need to be translated. So if you are a native speaker of these langauges, come and join us to translate this app.
There are 23 langauges that need translating.
Short Tutorial For New Translators
Step 1 - Click on the Link to Begin
-- Click on the strings.xml
-- the right side shows you how much you have translated for this project
-- right now, I have done only 4%
-- and as you continue, the blue line will move
-- your target is to get the blue line to reach to get 100% done
Step 2 - Translating Page
The following screens shows you the pages you need to translate.
-- this is Page 1 of 2.
-- the left column shows you the English sentences to translate
-- green bullets show that the sentences have already translated
-- orange bullets sentences need translation
Step 3 - Translation in the Middle Column
-- you key in the translation in the middle column
-- the sentence is in the left column
-- the sentence shows up at the top again
-- Input your translation and then SAVE
Step 4 - Move on to Translation Page 2
-- After you finish Page 1, Page 2 will pop up
-- You continue to translate until you get to the end of Page 2
-- All the green bullets show that you have translated the first round.
Step 5 - First Round is only 65% Done
-- Even though 2 pages are completely finished, the translation is only about half done
-- 65% finished only
You need to click on the link again to get to the 2nd round of Translation.
Step 6 - Page 1 of 2 will show up for the 2nd Round of Translation for this Project
-- Continue on with the translation for 2 pages
Step 7 - 100 % Finished - That's it, you are done.

I didn't put it onto video, but you can follow my blog here as I lay out the tutorial in screen shots so it is easy to follow. Each app is a bit different but the procedure /method is the about the same with slight changes.
