is there any other way to transfer money on steemit without using the public memo?
.
so we can transfer without the memo key? from bittrex to steemit?
Yes, We can through blocktrades.
good information but i think the way i did is also safe since every one can see our public memo in steemd right?
It really depends on how you are using it. Through blocktrades you give the memo key that they provide you, so others can't track your account back to steemit to know who you are. If you are using your memo key directly, you are making them the path.
.
btw thanks for reminder. it will help alot for me and for those who will read the comments.
I was looking for this...!
Thanks for the info!
Why is it so hard to withdraw?
Do not feel sure even for the account where you can not login using another key...
@ruah, one question.
I see that when we put bittrex to move Steem to bittrex wallet, it is actually going to a user called @bittrex on Steemit. You can check. Is this a mistake? I can see that that user has got many memos where the owners must have thought they are sending to an exchange only to find the Steem ending up in the wallet of the user @bittrex. Have you had a similar experience? If so, what are you doing to handle that? Would be helpful.
thats how actually it works, you will send it to @bittrex account, and the memo will be your wallet address on bittrex exchange, then in few munites, bittrex team using their API will creditted it to your account.
Okay, thanks for clarifying. I just had no clue what this account was all about. Thanks!
Nope I'm happy to able to share some idea.
