Introduction
FlightGear (http://www.flightgear.org) is an open source flight simulator that is even used in flight schools to train basic maneuvers, radio communication and navigation tasks. It is available for windows, mac and linux.
In this article I want to introduce my development of the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 based on the original aircraft from xsaint Sep from 2011, a user in FlightGear who is not active anymore.
Bug Fixes
Since it was a old aircraft in FlightGear lots of things are not working anymore. The developer has stopped the development in 2011, after one year of working on it. I have fixed all errors and now it is a usable aircraft. Furthermore I made the autopilot and glass cockpit full working and added all animations for multiplayer mode.
New Features
- FDM adjustments
- 3D Model modifications
- Animations added
- Multiplayer animations fixed
- Yasim FDM to current version updated
- Cockpit Autopilot to working stadium modified
- Slats added in the 3D-Model and in the FDM
- New Splash screen and thumbnail
Roadmap
Altitude controller has to be fixed
FDM fine tuning
Livery picture and UV-map need some work
Sound from original aircraft needed
Implementing 3D-sound and multiplayer sound

Thank you for reviewing!
One question: I have now email contact to the original author and I asked for changing the license to GPL.
My message:
I am interested in working on the SSJ.
I had made some significant changes now so that it is in good flight
conditions.
May I change the license to GPL?

Do you think that I may change it now?
Hello friend @schamangerbert, I am trying to resolve some issues in the schools and I have placed the following post to raise funds: https://steemit.com/castellano/@ropavejero/ropavejero-educativo
If it is within your means to support the project, you I would really appreciate it .. A hug
Yes I do! Good work my friend!
Tolle Arbeit!
Danke! Das freut mich sehr!
It is an excellent aircraft whose avionics is largely of French origin (Safran, Thales, Zodiac ...).
Weiter so!
open source flight simulator school is great,
i like your all project,
keep it up,
thank you
Grear work dear @schamangerbert!
Wow this indeed is interesting!
i like your sprite as you start right here, where others end there, reopen, correction and debugging. still help in flight gear module.
Beatiful plane ,and good simulator
