Explanation:
- this tutorial episode of yours is too trivial, it covers only very basis Pythonic mechanisms;
- "learning how to think like a programmer" was not covered at all, sorry;
- the way you have explained them by itself, including the length of your tutorial is however not too bad, in fact, I have been thinking about accepting / approving it even;
- if you would have covered more topics, such as briefly discussing other built-in data types (e.g. lists, dictionaries, sets, tuples), and briefly touching upon truth value testing (if, elif, else), looping (while & for), functions (def), some builtin-in functions, etc, then you would have made it;
- I'm publishing a
Learn Python Series
myself, you might want to take a look. And I also had to begin with a "part 1" episode: Learn Python Series - Intro ; - I'm not suggesting there isn't room for the both of us to cover a Python series! There is room for you as well. But please read my intro/part 1 episode, I just gave you the url for. And please understand the difference between what and how I covered the intro parts, and the way you have.
^^^ I strongly encourage you to have a good look at how I approach teaching Python. If you address your own tutorials in a similar way, I will approve your future contributions.
Good luck!
