Automatically post on twitter on new steemit post

So I had been a twitter user for a while, and I slowly changing to steemit. However, I still wanted to share my blog post on steem it with my friend on twitter, so I decided to work make an automatic work with IFTTT.

The services that I will be using is called IFTTT which is short form for "IF This Then That".
For programmer, this is something familiar as what you did with if statement.
For those who never program, IF This Then That, basically means, IF THIS happens, THEN THAT happens.

For this topic specifically, the IFTTT would be:

IF (i post something on steemit) {
    THEN post it on my twitter
}

IFTTT also provides a lot kind of combination for you to use. Some of the combination that I used are:-

• IF my phone connected to my office WiFi, THEN turn it to silent mode.
• IF my phone disconnected from my office WiFi, THEN turn it back to normal.
• IF I post on Facebook, THEN Post on Twitter
• IF I post a photo on instagram, THEN Post on Twitter

Step 1: Sign up

Sign up an account for IFTTT either with Google or Facebook

Step 2: Go to Autopost your steemit to twitter applet

Using this applet created by ausbitbank

An applet basically is a "template" that somebody had done it for certain use cases of IF -> THEN.

and turn the button on.

Step 3: Sign in your twitter

It makes sense that you need to authorize your twitter.

Step 4: Setting up some configurations

Modified superoo7 to your own tag	Some other way to mode your twitter post

I modified my post a bit after that.

Save it and you are done!

Check it on your twitter 🐦

It works with other social media too, like fb
