RE: Introducing SteemPress beta, a wordpress plugin for steem

in #utopian-io7 years ago

This is absolutely brilliant. I do have a couple of questions.

As far as tagging goes, Steemit only allows 5 tags how you strip off any extra tags? Also if it's more than 5 does it just take the first 5 tags?

Also is there or will there be a way for you users to authenticate on your site so that when they comment on your WordPress post it will automatically get uploaded for them as a comment on steemit? Also will they be able to up-vote from our WordPress site?

I think those things are not implemented yet. - But you're right in the long run it would be great to have a Disqus like wordpress plugin that works with steem as backend.

For now if you put more than 5 tags it'll simply not work :D (beta sotfwaaare). But in the v1 we'll take the first 5 tags yeah.

A complete wordpress integration is long term, but yes, it's planned.

Update : We now take the 5 first tags :)
