Project Details
Code Aster is an open source multidisciplinary engineering project developed by French company Électricité de France (EDF). With this mega project the EDF aims to satisfy the needs of people working in different branches of engineering. This massive project is mainly coded in Fortran language. As in line with the open source nature of the project, there are also other applications and add-ons built on top of Codeaster which are coded in different languages.
