I've been wanting to publish an idea for some time following the rules for it, but when I click publish it appears in red letters that I need to enter a github repositories.

I just wanted to make a contribution by bringing the idea to the developer community. How can I do to publish the idea?

Choose a repository first for your open project. you can show the list of repository to choose by adding on the text box the name of the repository project that you want to contribute to. then press enter it will give you a list then click the repository that same as you fill up in the text.
