Introduction

VLC is one of the most used media player, it is an open source cross-platform media player and a streaming media sever developed by the videoLAN project. it is an amazing media player and i choose to promote it so more people can know about it an d use it.

Audience

The targeted audience were men and women within the ages 13-65. These includes workers, student of different levels and individuals with different interest. Major cities were selected to give the promotion better reach.

  • Age - 13 - 65 years

Activity

To run the Facebook promotion ad i used my Facebook page called steemit support which i created to promote steemit and other open source projects to Nigeria. I made a post on the page explaining VLC media player to them and left the link for them to access. The promotion started on 01/03/2018 and ended on 02/03/2018 which is 2 days. A total of $1.36 was spend on this promotion.

Result

The post i made reached over 5,000 people and had over 262 likes, still counting.

    • Advise. The promotional AD should be professional and shouldn't call for your views on that. But you can call for your experience with The application. Giving your view simply seems unrelated as you are trying to promote the application and not your views in the AD.
