Please read this task very carefully, this design has very detailed specifications.
We need designers to create many different parts for our avatar generator, section: MINNOW. And only minnow this time.
See examples of how it will work:

Components
You have to create different eye, crest, scales, etc.
Specifications:
The final files must be PNG, 256x256px.
You must provide each part in a separate file with the name as in this example:

Your design must match perfectly with the provided base.
You can add an extra accessory or enviroment layer; use the name: accessory_
- Examples:
-- You must colocate the eye so it is in the right place everytime a new image is generated, it can't be in the right side of the image, upper center, etc. It must be always in the same position. What you have to do is change the style of the eye, for example: add an expression, eyelashes, glasses, eyebrow, etc.
-- You can design another pattern for the scales.
-- You can redesign the crest to have a different shape.
You actually must redesign all the parts but everything must match the base.
Also you must follow the same drawing style or be pretty close. Flat style is preferred.
3D looking designs, sketchy looks, etc, won't work.
The main body part should not be redesigned, it can only be changed on its color.
- Leave a comment with your design below, show us how it looks ensambled in the comment. This is necessary so the contributors can easily see what others have designed and make sure to make it different.
- Also leave the link to your contribution.
- Use the tag #wearecodex
- Make sure to post via utopian.io
Deadline
Deadline will be Monday March 5th, 2018.
We want to get a bunch of contributions so the avatar generator has a lot of parts to be so complete.
IMPORTANT
In order for your contribution to be accepted it needs to match what is asked here.
Your contribution MUST contain all the parts of the minnow.
Your design must be completely different from the shown here and what others show in the comments.
Two designs (entire minnow) per contribution is highly encouraged.
Remember only the body_ shape must not be changed, just change the color.

You could go with svg rather than png so you would be able to edit colors with code, animate maybe. And it would end up with more uniqueness imho.

Hi, it would be appreciated if you could change this part:
We understand that you look for a lot of different designs but this is not well written. They could include all suggested designs for your minnows in one or two contribution posts and not make a new one every time they come up with a slight change.
This is about variations and I believe that they should be included together and not separately.
Hi! Thanks for appearing to help us improve the task request. Well, first point is we need them to be completely different so, a new contribution with slight changes would not be accepted. Also, each should have the entire minnow, all the parts. If you consider we should ask for 2 or 3 entire minnows per contribution, please let us know to modify the TR accordingly.

All right, that is what I basically meant. I do not say that they have to provide more than one complete minnow design with the components put in separate files but if they do, then they should include them in one contribution post and the files of each design should be clearly separated for easier manipulation.
If you are looking for a lot of different designs, then it would be better to declare it in the task request description.
In my opinion, it would be better eighter to require 2-3 different designs in per contribution post to meet the task request requirements, or that each contributor can submit one contribution post where they could put an unlimited number of designs.
The approach one design per one contribution post is very optimistic and many people really like to do that. It would require your full attention to all contributions from the beginning. Utopian gladly rewards people but the idea should be to reward the designs really accepted by you and not everyone who joins the task request.
Thanks for the reply. I am in contact with graphics supervisor; I will ask him to check with me first before approving a contribution. I really want only the designs that actually work to be rewarded. In case I see the contribution before utopian mods do, I will leave a message saying if they work or not.
