RE: Goodbye Facebook: my recent vaccines post has helped me make an important decision!

It's always good to have a critical mind and not take things at face value. There are certain things that have been scientifically proven (round earth) while when it comes to medicine there are just generalizations (everyones body reacts differently). Facebook is definitely a waste of time. Iit was a good vehicle in bringing people to social media, but it is now time to start reaping the rewards for your activity instead of giving them to a company who doesnt care about you

You are right on the money there ;)

Personally however I choose to research all subjects I feel drawn towards. Even when they have been 'scientifically proven'. For even modern science evolves with time.

Quantum mechanics for example indicates that particles can in fact travel faster than the speed of light. Yet our current proven science states otherwise.

That which is our truth today may not be our truth tomorrow...

Very true. Science is always uncovering new things, thats just the nature of science and also what makes it such a great field. The scientific process by nature attempts to prove things wrong and through more and more research and observations the overall human knowledge increases.

However, with the age of social media has come blind trust and believing things without making sure they are accurate, this is very dangerous and people need to be better critical thinkers
