How many of us actually know the saga behind the Valentine's Day ? Few of us ? Majority of us ? Not many of us ?
Well friends , according to 'GOOGLE' back in the 3rd century the cruel Roman Emperor Claudius II outlawed marriage for young men for war reasons. However a priest St Valentine defied the Emperor and continued performing marriages secretly for young couples for the sake of love. After the discovery of the secret marriages the Emperor decided to imprison the priest. The priest had fallen in love with one of the jailor's daughter who was unfortunately blind. Before the priest was sentenced to death , he had written the girl a message.
The Catholic Church celebrates the feast of St Valentine on the 14th of February each year to remember the sacrifice made, to spread the message of love (try finding out in depth for yourself)
Hey ! Hey! spreading the message of love sounds so noble to me somehow. But then again how to spread the message? Whatsapp ? Facebook maybe ? oh no Instagram ? Hey Apple users i-message works too.
What should be the most romantic and impressive part of the message ? Isn't that what most us think or have thought of once upon a time?
I am happy to admit it out loud that Hello! yes I was a lover too and to my surprise I still am . But maybe this time a lover to self. Oh yes ! I thought i loved myself ever since time immemorial until i realised I didn't. There are all kinds of love out there , choose the best LOVE for yourself.
If you haven't loved yourself you haven't loved anybody else :)
Dedicate this 14th Feb to yourself and see the magic. Go out , eat what you like , spend your day well , come back and write :D
I'll update you guys about my 14th feb until then see you all
xoxo
