It goes back to the basis. How much do you waste? With a few simple ingredients I take almost over ripe berries and turn them into jam. 
We start with everything but the berries in the pan 
and by bringing it to a boil with constant stirring we bring the sugar to a caramelized base 
And with a little boiling and a lot of mashing yo get a fantastic jam and on top of French toast you have a meal for $2.60
