Technology fascinates me. I enjoy the novelty in expression. When I first discovered electronic cigarettes - I was of the experience "wow". This is incredible. It looks like smoking yet it is Vapor. The next thing that surprised me was that i learned about this inside a Bar. Laws had changed to not permit smoking in a bar. I think of smoking as a social pass time. it's a recreational activity at best. It's a luxury of accommodation. So, when the bartender drew a big draw from his vape pen and billowed out a cloud...i was like i so want to know more about this.
In exploring the evolution and the build out of the Vape space, I learned that the 'electronic cigarette' was invented in the 1960's! It did not pick up any traction because virtually everywhere on the planet was very very accommodating to Smoking! So it was not needed from the perspective of being an alternative solution.
The quality and the design of e-cigs has transformed over the years. I've been learning more about electricity as a result. Ohm's Law in particular. It's interesting because I was introduced to Ohm's Law in Physics class in Highschool...But it was mostly theoretical to me because there was no real physical use case in terms of hands on practicality I got play and work with. Today I bought a kit so that I can build my own coils for my electronic cigarette device. In order to build effectively the coils - it is imperatively important that I understand Ohm's law. So i will be doing some refresher reading and playing around with things a bit.
What else is real cool here is that I can create my own flavors...my own vape juices. At the moment I am using 'fruit loops' which is a tasty treaty to vape! I definitely enjoy Learning and experimenting with new things. It's so much fun to play around with what's here.
Cryptocurrency and Steemit are similar examples of playing around with new things...technology here. It takes some time to get a fee of things...to integrate the 'ling'...the vocabulary of the space. I love it. I like to play around with the movement of things. I guess it's because to me: Live is Movement. Our Self-Expression is Self-Movement. Grateful indeed.
Give Space Age Smoking a try - you might just enjoy it. And you could potentially expand your appreciation for technology and innovation.

I heard that e-cigs are just as unhealthy as normal ones... but maybe it's rumor propagated by the tobacco industry. :D It seems to be very dependent on what ingredients you're using. I vape since almost 6 years... my general condition, ability to smell and my sense of taste got way better as when I was smoking. Also my doctor told me that my lungs are almost as good as before my times of smoking.
Plus: there are official studies that do tell that vaping is 95% less harmless than smoking... So, what are you gonna choose? :)

U are not to be blamed. the big players (big tobacco and/or pharma and also politics) sported a huge disinformation campaign about vaping. They saw their profits going away in huge numbers. Clearly they want to protect it. But: vaping is actually too disruptive to ignore or to just ban away... So they have to acknowledge now...

Yes this, a thousand times. I caught my copilot doing it in the cockpit and wondered what was up. Stealth vaping maybe not... As an almost pack a day smoker I decided to give it a try and never looked back. I feel 100% better, and as a bonus big tobacco is unhappy.
I love electronic cigarettes. It's really delicious and the smoke is very thick.
