Tip #7:

I have done a lot of competitive swimming and surfed in some angry seas. No matter what intense activity you do, or whatever work you do, I started my day with the following smoothy. Not so cheap, but you will be firing on all cylinders.

  • Milk (rice, almond or oat. Stay away from soy. It's the 'Abominal Bean').

  • Frozen berries.

  • Banana.

  • Psyllium Husk.

  • LSA (Linseed, Sunflower, Almond).

  • Chia seed.

  • Manuka 'active' Honey. Preferable 15 and over.

  • Spirulina (or a 'supergreens' powder containing chlorophyll, wheat grass etc.).

Thanks eats. It really is a top start to the day. I did forget to add a tablespoon of protein powder (whey from a natural foods shop or supermarket. Doesn't have to be the expensive stuff with muscley guys all over the labels).
