We were happy to be invited to have the cafe on the magical Alfheimr gathering in the Norwegian forest.
Our favorite places to serve food and healing herbs is on transformational festivals and gatherings, so we did not hesitate to say yes when we were asked to join. As Mabon is a Pagan celebration that is important to us, we decided to take the cafè to the next level, and serve our favorite dishes!
We decided to use Autumn vegetables like sweet potatoes, and root veggies to use what we could get that is locally grown and harvested this season.
For decorations we found beautiful Amanita mushrooms, moss, rowan and sticks:
We always make nature decorations and use what we find in the forest to decorate, it looks so much better!
We built the cafe together with some of the crew, using sticks and dead trees we found around. Above you can see the beautiful Ambrosia sign that we got from a creative and handy friend!
We had a variety of tea blends that we harvested ourselves in the Norwegian nature.
We had one relaxing blend, and one energizing blend. We also harvested some other beautiful herbs and flowers that we made healing herbal tea from.
Prior to the event I found a huge apple tree close to my cabin.
Almost all the apples had fallen down on the ground because nobody picked them, and I therefor decided it was time for a scrump! ("Epleslang" in Norwegian)
We took what was left on the tree and made apple-sauce, and gave away free apples on the event!
Amanda Sage-Regeneration tapestry that we used to decorate.
The Mabon gathering was also a release-party for the V/A Mabon that is compiled for Alfheimr records (Alfheimr records will soon be on Steemit!)
I was blessed with the opportunity to make the cover-art for the V/A album, here is how it turned out:
We are always happy to share some good music, click here to take a listen to the album on bandcamp! and dance around to some wiggly and dark forest psy!
Love and light, Emilie / @umulius - Ambrosia crew.

Nice set up! Are the mini chocolate cakes ''raw''?
Yes, they are raw, vegan and gluten free, But full of flavor.
For the next event this weekend we are making the same raw brownie balls, but with dried raspberry, shredded coconut and blue raisins. So yummy 😊
We are actually planning to get our own branded boxes and make it on order, they are that good! @digitree
