You probably know how interested I am in juicing by now. There is nothing that I respect more in food than extracting the best of the best from natural fruits and vegetables. Or is it vegetables and fruits. Hmm.. let's get into this a bit more in this text.
If you were ever to compare a glass of orange juice from a well-known supermarket chain and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice from a couple of oranges, you would be able to see that the orange juice from oranges is something that looks like it is alive and ready to do the work for you. If you add in a couple of carrots and a beet root, maybe an apple or two and half of a lime, you would get a concoction that is worth solid gold (or maybe bitcoin these days) :)
This is exactly what I have been doing these past weeks, with my girlfriend right next to me supporting me and reforming her eating habits from scratch. It's really not easy, but when you are trying to live a plant-based lifestyle, you discover a wide range of new aromas and feelings. Juicing is one of the best expressions, for sure. One has to be careful though, not to juice only super sweet fruits, cause you will raise your fructose intake a bit to high. I recommend mixing 60% vegetables and 40% fruits, which is not easy for sure, but with the right amounts of all the greens you usually love and some of your most favourite fruits, I am sure you can come up with a juice that you would love and have no trouble making every day.
All these nutrients go straight to your cells. Immediately. In a couple of weeks your skin clears, your mood gets much better and you definitely lose weight. It's really worth trying.
Here's a movie that will teach you a bit more:
Hope you have fun and let me know if you need more advice!

Fresh juices make such a difference, you are absolutely right! I am enjoying a big glass of green juice every morning - with cucumber, kale, bok choy, lemon, apple, ginger, turmeric and spirulina in a great little juice bar here in Bali. 💚
