That's pretty much the same thing with me; The less people who eat meat, the less demand for it, which means less animals being killed. I'm not saying we should not eat meat, but if there is less demand it will ease the pressure for companies to treat so many animals so inhumanely just to make a bit of money.
i like to know where my food comes from and we don't abuse our beef cattle in Australia -- they are free range not factory
That's the main argument for me; yes, we should eat meat, but only the necessary amount. Not factory mass produce because we can
true -my serving size is around 120 grams average -- most people would have double that
I'm definitely the wrong person to talk about portion sizes, because I always eat crazy amounts of food. And I love the taste of meat as well, so this is going to be extremely tough for me.
