Hi Steemian vegans!
The first contest is closed, time for another one! The goal of it is to share our thoughts about a specific subject and re-establish our beliefs if we come across something better.
The contest itself will last for a week until the payout for this post comes. The SBD earned will be used in the next contest. The SP earned will stay in my account.
In the first contest, the winner, @evecab, got a symbolical amount of 50 SBD cents. If this post receives 0.50 SBD or more in post rewards, the prize will be raised with the next contest. Until then, it stays .50 SBD.
To participate in this contest you must:
- Resteem this post.
- Write a new post on your own blog and link it in the comments here. You can express your beliefs in any way imaginable (text, video, art, music).
- After a week, a post will be made for voting and you will be able to choose another contestant. If you do not vote, you will be automatically disqualified from the competition.
The winner is the one that gets the most votes. If more than one contestant gets the same top number of votes, the prize will be split up in equal parts.
The question for this contest is:
What do you think about keeping bees in an ethical way?
...
Keeping bees in artificial habitats in any possible ethical way, is it possible? How? If not, why not? What are the ethical obstacles? Where do you draw the line? Let them keep the honey or take it? What happens with the queen bees?
Think about it deeply and write your entry. After a week you will receive a minimal transaction with the link for the voting post in the memo. When the voting closes, if you're the winner, you'll receive a transaction with 0.50 STEEM dollars (SBD).
I hope you liked the idea for this contest,
With love,
@freegardens!
Keeping Bees is ethical, provided they aren't clipping their wings or taking their food. I think it's great to promote space for Bees!
Hey @martiallee thank you for your comment. I would love if you expand that thought and enter the contest with it!
Are you a vegan, @freegardens?
Positive. Why do you ask @novacadian?
Well your post does not seem that different than asking is there an ethical way to harvest milk from dairy cows.
Well, you could elaborate on that and enter the contest. Keep in mind that the question is about bee keeping in general, not only about bee keeping for honey.
Hi @freegardens, here is my entry
cheers!
Hi @evecab I'm glad you entered the contest. Please resteem the contest post, we need more contestants :)
Done! Total brain fart, sorry!
