There is safety in numbers. Standing alone against evil will cost you. We need a few people like that. But mostly we just need people who will "lift a finger" to empower those leaders.
For example, when you see someone jabbering on the phone in a quiet library, say something. It is scary at first, but soon you will learn that you can manage whatever reaction occurs. Find your voice, and you can change your world and perhaps even change THE world. It's not about making the library quiet. It's about teaching morals. When you do something like that, you are not really speaking to the offender. You are speaking to the thirty people who hear you and wish that they had had the courage to do what you did.
Yes you are totally correct and I will start to think about this a little bit more than I have before.
The more we are that speak up the more people will see it and start to shift their minds too =)
