Something that’s a big passion of mine that I’ve yet to really share on Steemit is that I also do free lance work as a professional creative Makeup artist. Over the years, combined with a love of natural skincare, living a Vegan lifestyle & being concerned about the ridiculous amount of toxins in beauty products, I began to niche & specialise in natural & cruelty free/vegan Makeup services.
Having been in the industry for well over 10 years I’m seeing now, more than ever an awareness for more natural makeup products in clients.

We’ve really come a long way with the performance of natural makeup & skincare & in 2018 there are so many highly efficient, natural & cruelty free products out there that indeed truly work!! Its really simple to detox your daily beauty regimes. I mean, have you ever taken a look at the ingredients listings on some of the products you put on your body EVERY, single day? Omg. A little scary really isn’t it?
The skin is a reflection of our internal health so using naturally based products will assist in your body breaking down any build up of toxins in your system & lead to more naturally glowing & healthy skin!
Some of my favourite Vegan Makeup & skincare products:
Perfect Potion is an Australian Aromatherapy company with the most beautiful skincare range.. I use their complete range of skincare for exfoliating, cleansing, moisturising & treatments.
The Frankincense & Rose moisture cream is amazing & leaves your skin nurtured & hydrated.
One of my latest fav’s is INIKA’s long lash VEGAN mascara.. it definitely lives up to the name & is full of nourishing ingredients.
Detoxing your skincare & Makeup has never been so easy with so many incredible products out there! I’ll soon get some D-tube tutorials up about using natural & vegan makeup!
Cruelty free? So you saying it wont hurt me when you pluck my eyebrows? Hehe.
But seriously weve gone so far that its ridiculous that we cant create quality products that dont have an effect on the other life around us.
The problem is that not enough people are raising awarness.
And the health benefits must exist. Its not only just what we put into our bodies. Its also that which we put on them.
A plucking of a few stray eyebrow hairs won’t hurt too much!! 😜 But thats it @silentscreamer, there’s just no reason for impacting so cruelly on other species for our beauty, or food & our lifestyles. In the past 15 years there’s been a massive shift in awareness which is definitely gaining traction around the world.. it’s truly just a matter of breaking habits & re-educating.
We don't have that brand but I try all my make up is cruelty free, if the brand has not the statement I simply don't buy it. Those looks amazing, the MUA is really good too, very natural subtle it boosts her natural beauty!
this is pretty awesome @marysemciver I honestly wish you would share more, your stuff is always awesome.
