You are such a sweetheart. I loved this - I can really feel your honest and kind-hearted nature in this post. Thank you so much for sharing. I love love downsizing too, and can really related to how it feels to go vegan and realise - wow - I have a lot of non-vegan things. I also believe in not being wasteful - so I liked your approach of giving things away or selling them (the idea of a wasted animal product makes me so sad - not only did the animal have to suffer for this - but no-one actually wants it). Thanks for stopping by in my channel and I am looking forward to sharing more with you about our upcoming van life. Last year I downsized to 1 backpack (30l) before traveling to India and it was so good. Really looking forward to moving into the van and continuing to live minimally. :)

Aww thank you so much for reading it! I'm so looking forward to your van life posts! I've only lived out of a backpack for short amounts of time in my life, for a month at the most. It always feels so good to have less things to worry about, especially while travelling when you want to be focused on the experiences rather than what you're wearing. Before I went to India I even chopped my hair to shoulder length to make things more manageable but it already grew back to where it was in just a couple years. There's something really grounding about ridding ourselves of unnecessary objects, it's definitely a practice I want to continue throughout my life.
