Dear friends π,
This is my ninth daily ice cream post! Please take a look at the worthy winners of my recent #healthyveganicecream challenge. The entries were so delicious and creative, I was totally blown away. Thanks to your contributions!!
This was definitely not the last time I hosted a #healthyveganicecream contest! π
This time, I made some vanilla raspberry ice cream.
Fortunately, I had some nice self-made vanilla ice cream left in the freezer (for a detailed instruction how to make it, see here. :)
So I just had to blend some raspberries with two bananas. So it was really easy and quick. I had some guests which I served the ice cream and they were all in love with it. Unfortunately, now there is nothing left any more. They ate it all up... haha
Ingredients
For a very big portion (three people) you need about 2 ripe bananas π and about **400g frozen raspberries. If you are using a blender, some liquid (e.g. soy milk) is advantageous so that the blender can handle the frozen fruits.
Preparation
- First, cut the bananas π into pieces and freeze them for at least 8 hours.
- Put the the frozen bananas into a heavy duty blender or a food processor.
- Add the raspberries and some soy milk into the blender. (Don't overdo it!)
- Blend everything until it is smooth and creamy.
There you have it! π
Your delicious raspberry vanilla ice cream! It tastes too good to be true. ππ
I garnished each of the glasses with a frozen raspberry.
Hope to inspire you! π
This recipe is also my entry to @heart-to-heart's #veganwednesday contest.
Good luck and best wishes!
