That is true, people have a tendency to enslave each other without really understanding what they are doing. I worked in the government and I saw it all the time. We can break free but it can be scary at first. Know what you are passionate and pursue it. There are plenty of opportunities out there. You just need to find them and recognise them when they appear.
Nobody should be a slave to anyone.
