Let's shop for fruit for our daily needs #30

in #vegan4 months ago

Good evening HIVE friends in this community. I want to tell you about my new habit and actually it's not me either. This is a new habit that my wife has implemented and because I am her husband, I am also involved in this habit. Apart from avoiding flour, my wife has also started consuming lots of fruit. However, he doesn't really like fruit as a snack, so he decided to make smoothies every day instead of making juice because it would be a shame if the rest of the fruit was just thrown away. And from this new habit, I always accompany my wife to shop for fruit in various colors so that the resulting smoothies taste good and are not monotonous in taste.

And actually, before this fruit shopping challenge, I had already bought several types of fruit and some of them I picked myself, namely papaya, which is abundant in my backyard, and there was also a time when I was shopping for oranges in the mountainous areas when I was tour. last week and I accidentally immortalized my orange purchase because I thought that I rarely go to this place so I wanted to immortalize a moment.

And from all the fruit that I bought a few days ago, I have compiled everything into one place and I will tell you what fruit I have in stock at home.

1. Pineapple
I bought this pineapple fruit 3 days ago because it was a hot day. Consuming pineapple with lots of water content really helps my body not to get dehydrated.

2. Red Dragon Fruit
I bought this dragon fruit specifically to make my pudding

3. Papaya fruit
I harvest this type of California papaya fruit from my garden and almost every day I harvest it when there is a yellow side of the papaya fruit. If you ask, why are the papayas harvested when the papaya fruit is not completely yellow? The answer is that if the papaya is completely yellow, then I pick it, then I will compete with the birds and other animals, then when I come home from work in the afternoon, the papaya fruit only has the stem left and the birds have already eaten it.ha..ha. .

And I will consume these fruits original, such as papaya, which I store first so it feels cold. And I almost forgot that for all the fruit I got today, I only spent RP. 20,000 only and if you follow the current US dollar exchange rate, the money I spend totals 1.24 U$ Dollars. From this amount I bought 1 kilogram of Dragon Fruit for Rp. 14,000 and 1 pineapple at a price of IDR 5,000 per fruit. How very cheap right? Meanwhile, I don't charge anything for the papaya fruit because it comes from my own garden.

Happy healthy and happy shopping for you. Greetings from Tomidiwirja, Indonesia
