Every few months there's a great vegan fair/market in Norwich, Norfolk - England and the Christmas fair took place yesterday. As well as interesting vegan food, cosmetics and other products - they always arrange interesting talks by vegan advocates...
Besides the many food stalls, T-shirts, gifts, cosmetics and other vegan friendly products - we had a talk from the local strongman and physical trainer Paul Kerton aka Hench Herbivore who gave a presentation about vegan nutrition and how it applies to fitness, body building and his own journey in life. I filmed his talk and it's available to watch at the bottom of this post.
Vegan Snacks
Among the many food stalls, you could find indian food from the vegan Indian Restaurant 'Namaste' and various vegan forms of common street food such as kebabs, pizzas, pastries and pies. There's no need to rely on food that itself relies on death of animals when such tasty alternatives exist:
Vegan Friendly Cosmetics and Bath Products
Tropic Skincare was represented by Sophie Hickmott who explained how the Tropic range is all vegan friendly and includes a wide variety of skincare, makeup and body care items. The company is relatively new and was funded by Alan Sugar after founder, Susan Ma, appeared on 'The Apprentice' with him in 2011.
Funky Skin Care was also present with a range of potions and lotions for common complaints and needs.
Established chain "Neal's Yard" presented their range of vegan products too:
Plus, Bubbly Badger sells various kinds of vegan soaps and gifts:
Vegan Food/Drink
Besos De Oro is a "decadent, vegan alternative to Cream Liqueur made with Tigernut Milk and Brandy." - in short it's a very clean tasting, vegan friendly alternative to drinks like Baileys. I tried a shot and it is genuinely superior to Baileys in every way - excellent work!
Rainbow Wholefoods were present with a range of their products:
... Plus, the vegan society were on call to hand out literature and share knowledge:

Final Flashback To Summer
If you missed it before, I also made a video for the Summer Fair too - which includes a Drum and Bass soundtrack of my own making, with a rare vocalist appearance by.. me ;)
Injoy and maybe see you next time!
Wishing you well,

Makes me think 'why have I never been to the Vegan Fair?!'
I only know of it's existence because of the Norwich vegans group on Facebook .. and I only use Facebook because.. well.. people. ;)
I think the next one is next Summer but they have other events now and again too. :)
Upvoted! =)
Thanks man, grateful to you!
I've been vegetarian since nearly 20 years and now vegan since 2 months.
I can really testify that there is quite a difference between being vegetarian and vegan on many levels, physically, mentally, energetically and spiritually. It might be a good topic to write about!
Although I had continually reduced my milk craving and consumption over the years you have also inspired me towards becoming vegan because I saw on your steemit profile that you're vegan.
So after visiting a vegan exhibition I did it.
Wishing you all the best, brightness and love to you all!
You are welcome! Great move - the cows appreciate it :)
Yes, I found the same. There is also another big leap from standard vegan to raw vegan - the extra enzymes and nutrition take us to another level. I haven't quite got there yet, partially because I live in a mostly cold climate area and hot food is in my DNA I think, for now.
Replacing milk is pretty easy now and I genuinely (hugely) prefer good nut milks to cow milks anyway. The recipe for coconut and almond milk I shared a while back might help you if you didn't already see it.
Bless sings to you to! <3
