When I tell people that I'm vegan they're often suprised and ask me:
"Really? How can you have muscles on a vegan diet?"
Most people still believe that it's not possible to build muscles on a vegan diet and I have to tell them that yes, you can build the same amount of muscle on a plant based diet as on a diet that contains animal products. It always depends on how much protein you intake.
My Top 3 protein sources are:
1.) Beans
2.) Lentils
3.) Tofu
In addition I supplement with a Pea Protein Powder.
As long as you get enough protein you can build muscle on every diet.

Sounds interesting and thanks for sharing!
What kind of beans do you eat as your protein source?
Thanks.
I personally like Mung Beans, Kidney Beans and Black Beans.
Guy you nailed it!
These three types of beans you listed are my favourites as well inclusive of brown beans and black-eyed beans. I even have recipes on them!
Anyways, do take care of yourself and all the best!
Thanks. Love your vegan recipes. ;)
You are welcome. Oh, I'm glad you find my recipes interesting!
Have a blissful weekend ahead!
Thanks for the post. I'm building muscle everyday while being vegan so I sure know you can! lol!
That's awesome. Yeah but most non-vegans believe you can't build muscle on a vegan diet.
Then they need a subscription to vegan bodybuilders magazine 💪 😎
